Carterton v Pioneer  5 - 8

Another terrible day and another below standard performance ended our season as a good supply of ball from a dominant pack could not be utilized.

With Pioneer looking to avenge last year's result they threw everything at us from the whistle and led 5 - 0 after 15 minutes, before our pack rolled them 20m to let number 8 Dwayne Mikaera score.  This left the score level at the break.

A very even second half with both teams leaving nothing on the field and with only a solitary penalty to Pioneer to bother the scorers.  The game and our season ended with a 8 - 5 defeat.
