Another fine day and another win but the first half was a struggle with a fired up Gladstone team and below average discipline from us combined to keep it tight at half time with tries to James Mathews and Brad Keating giving us a 17-13 half time lead .The second forty was a big improvement in both attitude and commitment with hard running and strong tackling the feature as we ran in another 4 tries to run out winners 39-16.Strong games from old hands Shane Namana and Neil Rodger helped steady the ship and allowed the space and ball required to set the outside backs away and strong mauling up front completed a pretty good second forty . Top six is now secure for the second round but with Old Timers day due next week we can't afford to rest up
