CARTERTON SECURES GRAND FINAL PLACE

24 July 2010 Semi Final - East Coast

In a tough fought out match Carterton has secured their place in the Wairarapa Bush 2010 Championship Grand final with a 12 points to 6 victory over East Coast. In a game that saw no tries, full credit must be given to East Coast who came to Carterton with a victory in mind and they took the game to us for the full eighty minutes. It was only the accuracy of Jono Hurley with his four penalties that transported Carterton into next week's final.
